ABB DDA204 4P 63A 30mA type AC 2 modules differential lock
The differential locks are mechanically designed to prevent a wrong coupling between the block and the circuit-breaker: the power of the block must always be equal to or greater to that of the circuit breaker. The lateral plastic clamp allows for faster assembly of the block on the circuit breaker and a button prevents possible interventions. It is used to protect human health in the event of an earth fault (electrical leakage) or phase-to-earth electrocution, thus also providing protection against macro electric shocks, both direct and indirect, on exposed persons. The AC type differential block works only with alternating current. Almost all systems for civil use fall into this typology.
