The Itka pendant lamp , design by Naoto Fukasawa for Artemide, represents a perfect fusion between aesthetics and functionality. Made between 2008 and 2010 , this lamp is characterized by a white painted metal structure and a satin etched opaline glass diffuser, with a particular white tubular PVC cover.
Design and Lighting
Itka 's design is defined by an iconic simplicity, which aims for subtraction to reveal the essence of light performance. Despite its flattened shape, Itka guarantees homogeneous light distribution, without creating shadow areas, thanks to a careful study of the light sources, which optimizes aesthetics, performance and energy efficiency.
