The Ajax MotionCam Outdoor PhOD White motion detector is a latest generation home security device. Uses passive infrared (PIR) technology to detect movement in the protected area. The MotionCam supports Hub wireless technology, allowing for quick connection with other Ajax devices.
How MotionCam works:
The Ajax MotionCam Outdoor PhOD White motion detector is equipped with two passive infrared sensors (PIR). When both sensors detect movement, the algorithm proceeds with the analysis in order to evaluate real intrusions. If the detected shapes are similar, a signal is sent to the control unit.
Thanks to the camera with which the detector is equipped, it is possible to see the photos that will be taken to check what the detected movements are due to. It offers the possibility of taking photos on request through the appropriate Ajax app.
