PEX-b/AL/PEX-b multilayer metal pipe. Outer layer color white. Internal layer of PEX-b (cross-linked polyethylene), intermediate layer of aluminum longitudinally welded (butt-to-toe) with laser/TIG technology, external layer of PEX-b (cross-linked polyethylene). The intermediate layers of adhesive uniformly join the aluminum layer to the PEX layers. The presence of the aluminum layer guarantees a safe barrier against oxygen and other gases, as well as giving the product excellent resistance to crushing. Application classes (EN ISO 21003-1) 1, 2, 4, 5 (suitable for transporting drinking water). Minimum operating temperature: -60 °C (in any case above the freezing temperature of the fluid being transported. Maximum operating temperature (EN ISO 21003-1): 95÷100 °C. Maximum operating pressure (EN ISO 21003-1 ): 10 bar. Thermal conductivity: 0.42÷0.52 W/m K. Fire behavior (EN 13501-1): C-s2,d0. In 5 m bars.
