FM500 Fire Button Overview
The FM500 fire button, equipped with a microprocessor and short circuit isolator, is designed for manual alarm signaling on fire protection systems. This innovative device automatically stores the thirty measurements before and the thirty measurements after an alarm condition, allowing a detailed evaluation of the operating conditions.
Advanced Features
Measurements can be displayed in graphic or text form on the control panel display, which is very useful for post-event analysis. In addition, the two-color LED provides a clear indication of the button status:
- Steady red: Alarm status
- Flashing red (2s): Alarm status with operating voltage < 17V
- Slow flashing green (2s): Normal status
- Fast flashing green: Duplicate address
Operation and Maintenance
The FM500 button is resettable: pressing the central part of the front activates the switch to generate an alarm. The alarm condition is reset using the special key provided. To open the container, simply use the key provided.
For installations with external electrical conduits, it is possible to use the counter-base 80SB7410121, compatible with diameters up to 20 mm.
