The Giacomini R18Y004 system fitting is a straight three-piece brass fitting, with female-male threaded union connections in dimensions G 3/4”M x G 3/4”F. It is a device suitable for use in plumbing, gas distribution and thermal solar systems. It can support a temperature range between 5 and 160 degrees Celsius, for sizes from 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1” or 1-1/4”. For 1-1/2" and 2" sizes, the temperature is between 5 and 110 degrees Celsius. The maximum operating pressure in hydraulic systems is 10 bar, while in gas distribution systems it ranges from a minimum of 5 bar (MOP 5).
