The "Two Flags" wall lamp represents a renewed design interpretation under the creative collaboration of Ernesto Gismondi and Neil Poulton in 2011 . Originating from a Danish design concept, this lamp stands out for its minimalist aesthetic and advanced functionality.
Description
The centerpiece of the "Two Flags" project is an extrusion, known as the "Slice" body, reinvented as the central element of an innovative lighting system. Its elongated and compressed shape is designed to accommodate two different light sources: a traditional halogen one and, above all, LED strips placed on the sides of the profile. The latter guarantee both direct and indirect lighting. The light emission is therefore divided in such a way as to create a higher intensity from one end, while from the other it delicately illuminates the body of the lamp and the surrounding environment.
Functionality
Depending on your mounting choice, "Two Flags" allows you to direct the lighting both upwards and downwards, thus maximizing its versatility. The body of the lamp is designed to be adjustable, adapting to different needs:
- In the wall version , it has a tilting mechanism that allows you to adjust the light emission on the wall or direct it upwards.
- In the floor and table versions , the body can rotate and slide in height along the support rod, to modulate the intensity and direction of the light depending on the work space.
