Vemer's VE294500 universal recessed methane gas detector is a safety device designed to detect the presence of methane gas in the environment. It is equipped with a highly sensitive methane gas sensor which detects the presence of methane gas in the environment and activates an audible and visual alarm. The device is equipped with a LED light which indicates the presence of methane gas in the environment. The device is equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery that supplies power to the device.
